Everyone runs into situations that require a quick turnaround. Our Made-To-Measure has a standard production timeline of 6 to 8 weeks with our Bespoke requiring at least 4 months for the final delivery. These standards are a result of a high quality production and hand sewing that goes into each piece we deliver. Additionally, we do not deliver garments we are not happy with, even if that requires an additional fitting or two. 

You aim to be “in fashion”.

We focus on timeless designs, avoiding seasonal trends or rapidly changing styles. This is due in part to our love of traditional tailoring styles that have survived generations, but also due to our desire to build versatile garments that our customers will love wearing for years to come. If you love keeping up with the latest fashion movements and want pieces that reflect that, then our approach probably won’t align with your style goals. 

You view clothing as a commodity.

Garments from Berez Private Tailor can be a significant investment, reflecting the quality of materials, time, and craftsmanship that go into each piece. If you’re looking for something budget-friendly or less focused on quality, there are other tailoring services that may better suit your needs.

You think clothing should make you “stand out”. 

Our philosophy is that clothing should complement the individual, not overshadow them. We believe in creating pieces that allow your presence to speak for itself—subtle, refined and effortlessly sophisticated. If you’re looking for clothing that’s bold, flashy, or designed to stand out in the crowd, what we do might not match the kind of statement you want to make.

At Berez Private Tailor, we have a deep respect for classic style, the kind of enduring, understated elegance that your grandfather most likely embodied. Our inspiration comes from timeless looks that have proven themselves over generations, not fleeting trends. If you’re drawn to reinventing your style every season or every other year, or prefer fashion over heritage, our approach might not resonate with your tastes. 

You think jazz is boring.

Achieving a perfect fit often involves multiple fittings, adjustments, and even reworks. This process can feel lengthy, but it’s integral to creating a piece that truly fits and lasts. If you’re going to be put off by long, meandering Miles Davis solos, sullen Chet Baker vocals or Sarah Vaughan exercising her extensive range, you may want to work with a different tailor. Or bring noise-canceling headphones.
